Preschool & Childcare
Kickstart Preschool opened its doors in 2008 in response to a growing need for early childhood programming in the Two Harbors area. It has been the mission of Kickstart Preschool to provide the highest quality preschool option for parents. In 2017 we remodeled our facility and expanded our programming to include childcare for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Kickstart Preschool is unique in that it's the only preschool program in the Two Harbors area licensed as a Rule 3 Childcare Center. We offer a longer and more complete preschool experience for children. The longer day and the option of enrolling up to 5 days a week allows us to create many exciting learning opportunities for your child! Our facility is a bright and cheery place to learn and the fenced outdoor play area allows for large motor development and exercise everyday. Additionally we have been awarded the Parent Aware 4 Star Rating! This is the highest possible rating!

We believe children learn best by exploring the world around them using all 5 senses. Daily projects allow children to feel, smell, see, and even taste their learning! Our program's extended day allows us to create wonderful experiences that take advantage of children's natural curiosity. Hands on, exploratory, and active learning is the foundation of a great preschool program. Kickstart teaches students pre-reading and pre-math skills to enable your child for their formal education.
