Makayla Nordean
Kickstart’s director and lead teacher is Makayla. She is a dedicated early childhood professional and proud mom and wife with over 10 years of experience working with young children. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and has spent the past 7 years growing within Kickstart Preschool.
Through her years of hands-on experience, Makayla has worked with a wide range of ages and has developed a strong passion for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children to learn and grow. Now serving as the Director and Owner of Kickstart, she is committed to continuing the center’s strong foundation while building meaningful relationships with families and supporting her staff team. Makayla believes that students learn best by doing. Experiential learning dominates her approach to early childhood education. At Kickstart Preschool she has continued a learning program that capitalizes on children’s natural curiosity and desire to explore.
